Dogs for Adoption

Hello Ed and Nancy!

I just wanted to take a quick minute and drop you a note regarding our puppy, Bailey, that we bought from you last March. I wanted to let you know how happy we are with her! She is so smart and so sweet and was so easy to train. I'd say her only bad habit is digging! I can't tell you enough how happy we are with her. I have had goldens all my life and she is by far the sweetest of them all. It's hard to believe that we've had her almost a year already. I also wanted to let you know how many compliments I have received about her. People just love her color-she's gorgeous! She is so patient and sweet with our kids (2,5 &7). She has brought us so much happiness and I just wanted to let you know that. Thanks for everything!

Hello Mr. and Mrs. Collins,

My daughter and I picked up Roxie's Male #5, Bear, on Saturday, December 17. We are happy to report Bear is adjusting well. With some intensive potty training, Bear, is 95% house broken. He even sits at the door when he has to go. He loves to roll in the snow, eat the snow, put his nose in the snow, and poop and pee in the snow. Needless to say, we are very sad the snow is gone. The only thing we should probably work on is his nipping. He has plenty of toys and bones,
so he is not chewing any furniture (as of yet).

Bear is a wonderful addition to the family. We love him very much.

We will keep in touch and send more pictures as he grows older.

Forever greatful, The Drakes

P. S. Please feel free to use our letter as a testimonial

Nancy ,

Just wanted you and Ed to know how much joy and happiness you have brought to Melody and I! Mollie is a super little dog! She's smart, obedient and a joy to be around. Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts.

Melody, Mollie and Me!

Ed and Nancy

Thank you for all you do! The past 4 months with Bella has been such a blessing! She's so playful, curious & extremely loving, that we couldn't imagine our lives without her. The next time we come to Princeton we'll try to stop by.

Thanks Again!

Aaron & Gladys

Hello Ed and Nancy,

Just wanted to send you a few pictures of LilyBug. She is such a good dog! Spoiled rotten just like my kids. She loves to travel, went to Florida , sat on my lap the whole time. Kyle & Kierra cannot get enough of her. They still pick her up and love her all the time. Everybody said the newness of a dog would wear off but here we are 10 months later and nothing has changed since the day we brought her home. She was very easy to train and knows a few tricks. Thanks for raising great dogs. LilyBug has brought great enjoyment to our family.

I just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with the puppy we received from you. He has been named Ebony and I can't even begin to express how happy we are. He is so outgoing, loves to play and has even tolerated a bath! He loves to explore and just yesterday was able to jump on the couch by himself...which was followed by jumping onto the coffee table! He is quite the climber! He still has the cutest little face and the longest eyelashes! I've attached a few pictures so that you can see how well he is progressing!

Thanks again, Ruthie

Ed and Nancy,

I'm finally getting around to writing you to tell you how much we love our goldendoodle, Toffee. She is the most loving dog. And really the most gentle. Every night she brings her rawhide bone or another toy and has me hold it for her while she chews on it. She really believes she's my lap dog and is happiest when she is sitting/laying on my lap and we are relaxing in the swing outside. Every morning she goes for a long walk with my husband and now she has even gotten into running beside the bikes.

We are always getting stopped and asked about her and told she is the cutest dog. Toffee has to sop and greet every new dog. Thanks again. Here's a few of her latest pictures. (she's about 8 month's old).

Nancy & Ed,

I am sending you a picture of Digger from Cheyenne 's litter. We are so happy with Digger. He is a very affectionate dog. If anyone is sitting on the floor, he will sit right in their lap or if we are sitting on the couch he takes a dive right in our laps. He has no clue how big he really is. He is almost eight months old already and he weighs 54 pounds. People stop me all the time when I am walking him and ask what kind of dog he is and how beautiful he is. He really is adorable. I just finished obedience class with him and won 3rd place. I was a bit shocked). Sometimes you wouldn't know it because he still can be a bit obnoxious. He just loves people and loves to chase birds all the time. Thank you for breeding such a great dog. You will definitely be hearing from us again in the future for a black female.

Thank you,

Hi Guys,

Murphy is WONDERFUL. Almost potty trained and the vet said he is a great puppy -due to your breeding. Thank-you! We love him and he loves everyone and especially the bed. Enclose are some pics.

Good morning to the Collin's family!

We all arrived home safely and Casey, now name Freddie has been very good. Freddie handled the ride home quite well.

Lynn and I appreciated your great service and making our purchase a pleasant experience. We will always remember Ed and Nancy Collins as good breeders and great people.

Thanks again,

Lynn and Frank

Ed and Nancy

Bingo is nearly one year old! She has been a source of constant amazement. She is an ever faithful companion. Thank you for the joy you brought into my life in the form of this darling puppy.

Good luck to you in this vocation of yours, bring happiness to so many people.

Hi Ed and Nancy,

Gizmo turned 1 yr. old a few days ago:) He is doing very well! He is smart, loving and spoiled rotten. He has already traveled on an airplane to a few states including Georgia and Philadelphia. He is very accommodating and has never fussed during long car rides or on airplanes. He loves everyone and his favorite thing when he sees a new face is to run over and lay on his back as he awaits his belly rub and scratch:) He is extremely nosey and just wants to be involved in everything. He is the best dog I could've asked for-

Ed & Nancy,

Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how well Ellie has adapted to her new home. She connected with our family almost instantly and was sleeping in her crate within two days without any howling or crying. She seems to be on her way to being housebroken. We haven't had any accidents in the house for four days. She also discovered the stairs to our second floor a few days ago so we block that off or monitor it so she doesn't get over confident. She was in for her shots a week ago and the vet pronounced her in great shape. She has a loving disposition and seems to be very bright. She already has learned to drag the newspaper to the front porch! Ellie's brought a lot of smiles to our home already. Thanks for a great golden retriever. Gunner and Mariah have done well!

Hi Nancy and Ed,

I just wanted to thank you for giving us such a great little puppy and give you an update of how our Phoebe is doing. She is a smart, spunky, little dog with a bit of an attitude and smart. Potty training is going pretty well with a few accidents here and there, but she is catching on quickly. Large dogs, loud noises, etc. do not faze her at all which surprised me a lot. Vacuum cleaner – no problem, thunder – no problem, rain – no problem, big dogs – no problem.

She is very healthy and weighed in at 4.1 lbs when I took her to the vet at 8 weeks and is now at 5.7 lbs at 11 weeks. I have attached a picture so you can see how she has grown.

Once again, you guys are great and many thanks!!

Dear Ed and Nancy,
I have been meaning to write sooner to update you on Canuck (the last female from Gunner and Reagan's  May ' 07 litter). Canuck is now 53 lbs, and a happy healthy dog. We can not even begin to describe how much love and joy she has brought to our lives. To say that she is sweet in temperament, intelligent and gentle would be an understatement and we can not thank you enough for producing what we consider to be one of the most exceptional dogs we have ever seen.
People actually stop us in public because she is so beautiful and kind, and she has been a star at the veterinarian office that we go to.
We were very impressed by your kennel the first time that we went, and Canuck is a testament to the incredible breeding success that you have.
She is everything that we could have hoped for and more. We will defiantly be in touch over the next year for another puppy as a companion for Canuck.
Thank you so much!
Best Wishes
Nicola and Todd
Ed & Nancy,

We just wanted to let you know how great of a puppy we have.  Sammy is 5 mos.old now and the joy of the household (actually he is the comedian) and just loves our toy poodle TJ as his big brother.  We get compliments ALL the time when people see this puppy and the vets office keeps asking where we got him because he is so healthy and cute.  Thank you for making a great dog affordable for our family to enjoy.  We just love him and can't thank you enough.  I have referred many people to your website.

Dear Ed and Nancy:
We are so pleased with our new best friend.  Dakota's male #4.  We took him to our vet today.  We use the McNabb Veterinary, Dr. John E.  He told us that he sees 4 to 5 puppies from your kennel every year and he said that your puppies are always exceptional.  They are very healthy and  have such great temperaments and he only had excellent things to say about you and your breeding program.  I thought you would like to know that.
We don't have to watch TV much because Buddy entertains us all day.  He has slept through the night both nights.  We will recommend your kennel anytime.
Thanks again for our little Buddy Boy.
Hello Nancy and Ed (Mr. and Mrs. Collins),
We just want to give you an update on the cockapoo puppy we picked up from you last month. He was the last one available, and lucky for us! It was tough the first week but all the hard work paid off. He was able to sleep through the night in his crate by the 2nd week.
Housebreaking training is going well and we believe it's because we limit his access to the house. During the day, we can leave him 4 hours maximum in his crate without whining and without accidents. He is now 12 weeks old, and has learned the "come" and "sit" commands. He's even leared to jump through the hula hoop when we ask him to jump! We are all amazed at how smart he is! He will be starting Puppy Class next weekend. We did take him to a 1 hour private lesson due to nipping issues and we are really working on this bad habit which is due to teething issues. He is very healthy and 2 weeks ago he weighed 6 lbs and 8 oz.
Thanks so much for giving us Duke- his full name: Duke Dandy (name is the boys' choice). We just call him Duke or Dooky.
Attached are a couple of photos of him and the boys in their Halloween costumes. Feel free to post this e-mail in your site. You may also use Duke's photo.
